MTG 2022 Standard Rotation!

Standard is a competitive format of MTG that was introduced back in the 90s! Once a year, with the release of the "fall" set, the four oldest standard legal sets in Standard will rotate out. This year, Dominaria United marks the rotation! Although this reduces the pool of cards that Standard players can draw from, this may be considered a boon for players of other formats such as Modern or Commander. With the older cards no longer being playable, the prices of these single cards often fall.

Sets that are leaving the format are:

• Zendikar Rising
• Kaldheim
• Strixhaven: School of Mages
• Dungeons & Dragons: Adventures in the Forgotten Realms

The current set legal in Standard are:

• Innistrad: Midnight Hunt
• Innistrad: Crimson Vow
• Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty
• Streets of New Capenna
• Dominaria United
