Magic the Gathering Aetherdrift Previews Begin! (Card List, Spoilers and more!)

Time to get behind the wheel and relive your Speedracer days with Aetherdrift, Magic the Gathering's racing-themed set! This was an interesting choice from the folks over at Wizards of the Coast, described as "a high-speed, high-stakes death race across 3 planes that brings fans a mixture of fresh new ways to explore magic while delivering on high fantasy worldbuilding you love."

Three planes have been chosen for this set to take place in, and so far we can speculate that Kaladesh (now called Avishkar) is one of them from the artwork presented during the announcement. Some fans have been discussing what the other two planes could be, with theories of Zendikar, Vryn or Amonkhet. This is backed up by the creators stating that two of the featured planes have not been revisited since their debut, and one has never been featured as a premier set before. Furthermore, the MTG Wiki has listed two of the planes as Avishkar and Amonkhet. We will likely find this information out a lot closer to the release date.

With Aetherdrift, the usual Play Boosters, Collector Boosters and Bundles are available, alongside two Commander Decks; Living Energy (Green/Blue/Red) and Eternal Might (White/Blue/Black); and finally a racing twist on the Gift Bundle aptly named Finish Line Bundle!

Essentially, if you love vehicles, then this is the set for you. It will be jam packed with cars, bikes and anything with two or more wheels that goes fast! We've gotten a glimpse of some of the cards to expect with the set, but we will have to wait until closer to the time to see more.
