Jump to Lightspeed with Set 4 from Star Wars Unlimited!
Star Wars Unlimited has been a humongous hit in the TCG community, uniting fans of tabletop games and Star Wars in a galactic battle for the ages - and it isn't stopping any time soon. Jump to Lightspeed is the fourth set from Star Wars Unlimited, and as with every entry into the game it's heavily inspired by the eras from the source material. But interestingly enough, that isn't what has us at Total Cards buzzing with excitement over this reveal - it's new product lines!
That's correct, with Jump to Lightspeed we're seeing the introduction of Spotlight Decks and Carbonite Boosters. We'll get into exactly what each of these are and why you should pick them up in a moment. This set has a particular focus on starships, pilots and epic space battles - and releases on the 14th of March 2025!
New Year, New Products!
As previously mentioned, Jump to Lightspeed will be introducing brand new products! These are respectively called Carbonite Edition Boosters and Spotlight Decks.
Spotlight Decks are ready-to-play 50 card decks that provide everything you need to get started in this fourth set. Interestingly enough, there is no Two-Player Starter Set, which is likely because SWU has established a pretty strong player base and is ready to begin providing staple decks much like Magic the Gathering and Pokemon. There will be two of these decks and they are themed around Han Solo and Boba Fett. You can pre-order them right now for £20.95 each!
The second new product, and arguably the most exciting, are the Carbonite Edition Boosters. Uniquely named, these are essentially your Collector Boosters - a more premium booster for those who want to strengthen their collection or fill out their deck with flashy cards. These boosters are a higher price point than your standard booster packs, but there's a reason for that. In Carbonite Edition Boosters you will find variant cards that have special aesthetic treatments, including exclusive Prestige variants that you can only find in these boosters specifically. Not only that, but these booster packs are limited to one print only, as they will not be reprinted, making these cards all the more collectible!
Of course, you will also find your standard Booster Packs and a Pre-Release box when attending your local game store prior to the 14th March 2025 release date.
