Adventures in the Forgotten Realms Commander Decks revealed!
A Myriad of new products have been revealed for the awesome upcoming Adventures in the Forgotten Realms expansion! The four commander decks now have Commanders revealed along with their colour combinations! The decks will have a ton of cool reprints (likely including copies of Sol Ring and Commander Tower), as well as 68 new cards exclusive to the decks. The decks will build upon the themes and mechanics introduced in Adventures in the Forgotten Realms and a sure to bring their on unique dynamic to the Commander format.
The Commander Decks have been revealed:
- Aura of Courage Featuring Galea, Kindler of Hope as the commander, this deck utilises White, Blue and Green. It seems that this deck will be focused on loading up creatures with a ton of equipment. This could be used oin your commander to knock out opponents in one hit.
- Dungeons of Death This White, Blue and Black deck has Sefris of the Hidden Ways as the commander. This deck will focus on the new Dungeon mechanic as well as some resurrection strategy.
- Draconic Rage Vrondiss, Rage of Ancients is at the head of this Red and Green deck. The deck will seemingly contain a ton of new cards that roll dice allowing you to flood the field with tokens.
- Planar Portal Prosper, Tome-Bound will be the commander for this Black and Red commander deck. The commander allows to exile a card and play over a round. We suspect this will see this coupled with the foretell mechanic from Kaldheim.
Each Commander Deck will contain the following:
- 1 Display Commander card
- 2 foil Legendary cards
- 98 regular cards
- 10 double-sided tokens
- 1 Life Wheel
