We're nearing the end of the year for all your favourite TCGs to be dropping their final sets of 2025, and Lorcana is no different. Recently, Disney Lorcana visited GenCon and provided us a bunch of information on upcoming sets and events, such as Fabled and the next Championship. But what caught our eye was the latest info on their 10th set, alongside an honourable mention.
Set 10 Reveals
Whispers in the Well is releasing on the 14th of November worldwide, and we've had some of the product line-up confirmed. As per, we're getting a Booster Box, Illumineer's Trove, Sleeved Boosters and two Starter Decks. The Starter Decks will feature Simba & Megara 
, as well as Judy Hopps & Robin Hood 
. By the looks of it, this set will tie into the upcoming release of Zootopia 2 who's teaser trailer launched back in May and releases in November 2025.
Three cards so far have been revealed; Judy Hopps, Uncovering Clues; Nick Wilde, Persistent Investigator; and Putting it all Together.
Judy Hopps, Uncovering Clues allows you to look at the top 3 cards of your deck, reveal a Detective character card and put it into your hand whenever this character card is played and whenever she quests. Given that the artwork for this card matches that of the Starter Deck featuring Judy Hopps, its safe to assume this will be the card included.
Nick Wilde, Persistent Investigator has the ability Case Closed which states that during your turn, whenever one of your Detective characters banishes another character in a challenge, draw a card.
Putting it all Together is an action card that allows you to choose an opposing character - preventing them from challenging during their next turn. You then draw a card.
It's clear that these cards in particular are heavily pushing card draw, with each of them allowing you to get cards from your deck one way or another. It will be interesting to see what other cards show up as we near release day.
New Rarities
The two new rarities will also be continued in Whispers in the Well. Originally there were 6 rarities (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Super Rare, Legendary & Enchanted) with Enchanted being the most sought-after cards. Now, we are welcoming Epic and Iconic. Epic will feature frameless art, a vivid rainbow foil finish, holofoil symbols and tinted text.
These cards are rarer than Legendary, but not as rare as Enchanteds - so you still have a stunning card with a special design to chase that are a little easier to find compared to the higher rarity cards.
Iconic cards are something truly special. These cards are incredibly rare and far less common than Enchanted cards. Full-card artwork, special lore star foil pattern, and 3D hot stamping. Designed as the ultimate cards for collectors to seek out, we see these arrive with Fabled and continue into Whispers from the Well. It's nice to see how Ravensburger develops this game whilst keeping its lifespan in mind.
New Card Type & Abilities
Alongside the brand new rarities, we're also seeing a new style of card border (or Card Type) as well as a new ability. The new card border is stylised as a piece of parchment, with a vignette over the artwork. The parchment is torn in two pieces, with the lower half featuring all the abilities of the card. This seems to be exclusive to the Starter Decks.
Some eagle-eyed fans have also noticed the new ability, aptly named Whisper (at least that's what can be deciphered.) From what can be seen, the Whisper ability relies on a card being underneath them. We don't know whether it triggers immediately, or has another factor in play, but we can't wait to see what's in store for us this November.

Honourable Mention
Finally, we've been spoiled with the set that will usher in 2026. Winterspell is coming in Q1 (which is Jan, Feb, March) and will be bringing "flurries of fun" with more Lilo and Stitch! We've had a glimpse of the artwork that will be promoting this set, which heavily implies that Experiment 624 (also known as Angel) will be making her way to Lorcana! If anyone can recall, Angel was given the moniker of "the pink Stitch", and debuted in 2006 in Lilo & Stitch: The Series - and has been a recurring character in Stitch's world. So it makes sense that we'd see her crop up eventually!
