Pokemon SV9 Journey Together releasing in March 2025! (Spoilers, Card List & more!)

Back in December, we wrote a blog announcing Battle Partners was releasing in Japan. This set was to bring back Owner Pokemon, and would make up our 9th entry into Scarlet & Violet. Well, today's the day that our English counterpart is revealed!

Releasing on March 28th, Journey Together is our 9th Scarlet & Violet main set, and will come with all the good stuff we love to collect. Staples such as Booster Boxes, Elite Trainer Boxes and more will be available for you to grab, and having a good look at the product wrap for this set we are getting more and more excited! Booster packs feature; Iono & Bellibolt; N and Zoroark; Lillie & Clefairy; and Hop & Zacian! It's a shame that we wont see the Card Binder set that Japan will be getting, but we've got that to look forward to with the Prismatic Evolutions set releasing this month. The set description is as follows:

Trainer's Pokémon Break into Battle!

With deep trust and steady guidance, Trainers help bring out the best in their Pokémon. The bond they share empowers them to act as one in battle as they push their strength to the limit, including as Pokémon ex! Team up with N's Zoroark ex, lono's Bellibolt ex, Lillie's Clefairy ex, Hop's Zacian ex, and more Trainer's Pokémon, and discover the unstoppable power of friendship in the Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet-Journey Together expansion!

According to TPCi, Trainer's Pokemon cards will be showcasing the special bond between the Trainer and themselves, with each card featuring the Trainer's name. You'll also be able to find these Trainer's Pokemon available in illustration rare, ultra rare, special illustration rare, and hyper rare cards! Notable cards from the set include:

  • Four Trainer's Pokemon ex
  • 16 Pokemon ex
  • 11 illustration rare Pokemon
  • Six special illustration rare Pokemon
  • Three hyper rare gold etched cards

We got a glimpse at these Trainer Pokemon at Worlds 2024 in Honolulu, as well as card reveals from the Japanese set Battle Partners (which you can read more about on our blog here). Pre-release tournaments will commence on March 15th.

Not only that, but this set will be printed and available in Latin American Spanish! This is part of Pokemon's effort to embrace their Latin American community following the launch of Latin American Spanish in Pokemon GO back in May 2024. Subsequent sets following on from Journey Together will be available in Latin American Spanish.

As more information is revealed about Journey Together, we'll update this blog regularly, so be sure to check back! Keep an eye out for pre-orders to go live for this set, and bring on March 28th!
