Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Prismatic Evolutions set announced!

The first of the Eeveelution SIR cards have been revealed in Japanese! We have been given a preview of all the Eeveelutions in their SIR cards; Umbreon ex; Sylveon ex; Glaceon ex; Vaporeon ex; Eevee ex - and they are truly stunning. The translations are as follows:

 

Eevee ex  – HP200

Basic Pokemon

Ability Rainbow DNA
You can play Pokemon ex that evolve from Eevee onto this Pokemon to evolve it. (You can’t evolve this Pokemon during your first turn or during the turn you play it.)

 Coruscating Quartz: 200 damage.

 

Umbreon ex – Darkness – HP280

Stage 1 (Evolves from Eevee)

Moon Mirage: 160 damage. Your opponent’s Active Pokémon is now Confused.

Onyx: Discard all Energy from this Pokémon. Draw 1 Prize card.

 

Glaceon ex – Water – HP130

Stage 1 (Evolves from Eevee)

Frost Bullet: 110 damage. This attack does 30 damage to 1 of your opponent’s Benched Pokémon.

Euclase: Knock Out 1 of your opponent’s Pokémon that has exactly 6 damage counters on it.

 

Sylveon ex – Psychic – HP270

Stage 1 (Evolves from Eevee)

Magical Charm: 160 damage. During your opponent’s next turn, the Defending Pokemon’s attacks do 100 less damage (before applying Weakness and Resistance).

Angelite: Choose 2 of your opponent’s Benched Pokémon. They shuffle those Pokémon and all attached cards into their deck. If 1 of your Pokémon used Angelite during your last turn, this attack can’t be used.

 

Vaporeon ex – Water – HP280

Stage 1 (Evolves from Eevee)

Heavy Squall: This attack does 60 damage to each of your opponent’s Pokémon ex. Don’t apply Weakness and Resistance for this damage.

Aquamarine: 280 damage. This Pokémon can’t attack during your next turn.

 

Jolteon ex – Lightning – HP260

Stage 1 (Evolves from Eevee)

Flash Spear: 60+ damage. You may discard up to 2 Basic Energy from your Benched Pokémon. This attack does 90 more damage for each card discarded this way.

Dravite: 280 damage. This Pokémon can’t attack during your next turn.

 

Flareon ex – Fire – HP270

Stage 1 (Evolves from Eevee)

Burning Charge: 130 damage. Search your deck for up to 2 Basic Energy and attach them to 1 of your Pokemon. Then, shuffle your deck.

Carnelian: 280 damage. During your next turn, this Pokemon can’t attack.

 

Leafeon ex – Grass – HP270

Stage 1 (Evolves from Eevee)

Leaf Typhoon: 60x damage. This attack foes 60 damage for each Energy attached to all of your opponent’s Pokémon.

Moss Agate: 230 damage. Heal 100 damage from each of your Benched Pokemon.

 

Espeon ex – Psychic – HP270

Stage 1 (Evolves from Eevee)

Psych Out: 160 damage. Discard 1 random card from your opponent’s hand.

Amethyst: Devolve each of your opponent’s evolved Pokémon by shuffling the highest Stage Evolution card on it into your opponent’s deck.

Recently revealed was the poster included in the Poster Collection, which shockingly showcases the 9 Special Illustration Rare cards for the Eeveelutions! Getting to see them this early is incredible, and it's obvious that this reveal is just going to fuel the popularity of this set. Though the images are low quality at this moment in time, we can see the following:

  • Terastalised Leafeon ex depicted in a tranquil woodland
  • Terastalised Flareon ex encircled by flames
  • Terastalised Vaporeon ex in front of a stained glass window
  • Terastalised Glaceon ex surrounded by icy diamonds
  • Terastalised Jolteon ex in motion, with bold yellow motion lines
  • Terastalised Espeon ex depicted in what looks to be a crystalline cavern
  • Terastalised Sylveon ex surrounded by adorable pink ribbons
  • Terastalised Umbreon ex in front of what appears to be a Sun, in contrast to the Moonbreon card from Evolving Skies
  • Terastalised Eevee ex in what looks to be someone's garden

The poster also depicts the standard ex cards for the Eeveelutions which you will find within the set. Speaking of those cards, the promos for the Surprise Box were also revealed, they are the standard ex cards with a Prismatic Evolutions stamp on them.

Earlier today we updated our Terastal Festival ex blog, explaining that the Eeveelutions set would make up part of our January special set. As luck would have it, TPCi just announced moments ago that Prismatic Evolutions would begin to release on January 17th 2025, alongside the product line up! Let's take a look:

The Products

Alongside the usual Elite Trainer Box, Booster Packs and Booster Bundle we will be getting a special Binder Collection, Mini Tins, Tech Sticker Collections, a Poster Collection and brand new products the Surprise Box and Accessory Pouch Special Collection.

The Prismatic Evolutions Binder Collection will include five booster packs and one nine-pocket album that holds up to 378 cards. The binder is themed around Terastalised Eevee, and is likely to be highly popular. The Prismatic Evolutions Binder Collection will release on January 17th 2025.

Previously very popular with 151, Prismatic Evolutions will also include a Poster Collection which features three booster packs; three promo cards featuring Vaporeon, Jolteon and Flareon; and one full-size, two sided poster featuring Eevee and its Evolutions. This releases on January 17th 2025.

The brand new Prismatic Evolutions Accessory Pouch Special Collection includes five booster packs and an adorable accessory pouch perfect for storing your dice, counters and anything else you'd need at your next tournament. The Prismatic Evolutions Accessory Pouch Special Collection releases on April 25th 2025.

Also releasing is the brand new Surprise Box. This includes four booster packs, a stylish storage box with four dividers and one random etched promo card featuring Eevee or one of its Evolutions as Stellar Tera Pokemon ex. This is expected to be one of the most popular products from this release. The Prismatic Evolutions Surprise Box releases on February 7th 2025.

Eight Mini Tins featuring Eevee's Evolutions (Espeon, Flareon, Glaceon, Jolteon, Leafeon, Sylveon, Umbreon and Vaporeon) will also be releasing and include the usual two packs and one art card. These release on February 7th 2025.

The Tech Sticker Collection will be making a comeback with Prismatic Evolutions, featuring three booster packs; one foil promo card featuring Leafeon, Glaceon or Sylveon; and one sticker sheet. These will be available from January 17th.

The Elite Trainer Box will include all of your usual necessities that you find in an ETB, alongside an illustration rare-style promo card featuring Eevee. This releases on January 17th 2025.

Releasing on March 7th 2025 will be your Booster Bundle, which includes six packs of Prismatic Evolutions.

To top it all off, on May 16th we can expect to see the Prismatic Evolutions Super-Premium Collection launch - and on September 26th the Prismatic Evolutions Premium Figure Collection will hit the shelves too!

2025 is the year for Eeveelutions fans, so buckle up - because your collection is going to be stacked with Eevee cards!

The Cards

As mentioned previously, this set will be made up from Japan's Terastal Festival ex set which releases in December. This set will also feature two sets of reverse holo cards, one with a Poke Ball etched into the card background and one with a Master Ball.
