Japanese 25th Anniversary Pokemon cards revealed!
With Celebrations quickly approaching, we are now starting to get glimpses of the Japanese cards from the 25th Anniversary set! If you're a big fan of Pikachu, then you're in luck, as 10 out of 11 revealed cards feature this iconic mascot! Hold on tight, because we're certain that the 25th Anniversary set may be the biggest expansion the TCG has seen, especially in terms of collectability! In light of the certain popularity of Celebrations we will be limiting pre-orders for this set, to ensure that everyone gets what they're after.
Cards that have been revealed include the following:
- Pikachu - Based on the original illustration of Pikachu and highly reminiscent of the base set Pikachu, this is likely going to be a big hit with collectors.
- Mew The ancestor of all Pokemon gets its own spot in the 25th Anniversary set!
- Pikachu V With the dominance of V Pokemon in the current game, it is only natural that the mascot gets another in this set!
- Surfing Pikachu V Surfing Pikachu was first released as an event exclusive Pokemon in the video games long ago and was a fan favourite throughout the community!
- Surfing Pikachu VMAX This awesome VMAX Pokemon is massive, especially in comparison to its teeny surfboard!
- Flying Pikachu V Pikachu takes to the air with the aid of balloons! Another great addition for any Pikachu lover!
- Flying Pikachu VMAX Pikachu takes the form of a hot air balloon in this awesome VMAX card!
- Pikachu V-UNION The upcoming V-UNION cards are joined by another member! In this version, dozens of Pikachu band together, displaying iconic artwork from the past 25 years!
