Gala Greeters - Creature

Ability:
Alliance — Whenever another creature enters the battlefield under your control, choose one that hasn't been chosen this turn —
• Put a +1/+1 counter on Gala Greeters.
• Create a tapped Treasure token.
• You gain 2 life.

Why it's good: Gala Greeters works well with high creature output, so token generation commanders like Jaheria, Friend of the Forest, work really well. It triggers every time you get a creature out, including token creatures. So you make 3 creatures to get every trigger every time. This MTG card is available in standard, borderless and buy-a-box promo.

Vivien on the Hunt - Legendary Planeswalker

Ability:
+2: You may sacrifice a creature. If you do, search your library for a creature card with mana value equal to 1 plus the sacrificed creature's mana value, put it onto the battlefield, then shuffle.
+1: Mill five cards, then put any number of creature cards milled this way into your hand.
−1: Create a 4/4 green Rhino Warrior creature token.

Why it's good: The top ability allows you to sacrifice a creature and play a card with 1 higher mana cost, which you are searching your library for that creature. So you are guaranteed to find that creature unless it has been milled. The second ability is a self-mill. You can place any creature cards you mill into your hand, effectively filtering through your deck searching for valuable creature cards. The third ability is useful in creature token doubling, which includes Doubling Season, Primal Vigor, and Ojer Taq (Ojer Taq is actually a tripler! But it's a white card so you need that as part of the deck). This magic card is available in standard, borderless and Art Deco treatment

Raffine, Scheming Seer - Legendary Creature

Whenever you attack, target attacking creature connives X, where X is the number of attacking creatures.

Why it's good: Raffine works as a cheap mana cost commander - you have a lot of attacking creatures, which you use to connive. The connive mechanic is a unique one, allowing you to draw and discard, then put a number of +1/+1 counters onto your creatures to make them hit harder. Batter your creatures against a wall until the wall perishes. You have to discard non-land cards to do this, but there are cards like Aid the Fallen that will return creature cards back to hand from the graveyard.
