Vendetta, the fourth set for Riftbound, brings one of the largest Overnumbered card collections the game has seen so far. With 31 Overnumbered cards split across two categories, there's a lot for collectors to chase when the set releases — whether you're after the signature Legend variants or trying to piece together the connecting artwork shared between rival, friend, and family pairings from the League of Legends universe.
Overnumbered cards carry a number beyond the set's standard numbering, which is how you can spot them at a glance. Riot has confirmed that Overnumbered cards will never be reprinted with the same art and frame, meaning every copy pulled is genuinely unique to that print run and will never appear in that exact form again — a big part of why they're so sought-after by collectors. The card images below show each Legend's standard Vendetta artwork; the Overnumbered variants use the same characters with a special numbered frame and artist signature.
All Legend Overnumbered Cards in Vendetta
There are nine Legend Overnumbered cards in Vendetta, one for each of the new Legends introduced in the set, each featuring an artist's signature.

Akali — Rogue Assassin
Akali empowers using energy and a rainbow rune, and once Empowered she can disempower and exhaust to move a friendly unit in a showdown back to base and ready it — a slippery way to dodge combat and reposition.

Renekton — Butcher of the Sands
As a Reaction, Renekton can spend runes and exhaust to add energy that can only be used to play units or activate unit abilities, giving Fury/Body decks extra fuel exactly when they need it.

Zed — Master of Shadows
Zed becomes Empowered automatically whenever you banish a card you own, and can then disempower and exhaust to discard a card and draw one — rewarding decks built around banish effects.

Nasus — Curator of the Sands
Whenever you play a unit, gear, or activated ability with a high energy cost, Nasus can be exhausted to ready up to two runes, smoothing out expensive turns.

Shen — Eye of Twilight
Shen can exhaust to give a friendly unit Tank for the turn, forcing it to be assigned combat damage first and shielding your more fragile units.

Jayce — Defender of Tomorrow
Jayce empowers using energy and runes to ready a gear, and once Empowered he can ready two gear at once — a strong pick for gear-heavy Mind/Body builds.

Mel — Soul's Reflection
Mel becomes Empowered whenever you empower something else, and can then disempower to give an enemy unit at a battlefield -2 Might for the turn.

Ambessa — Matriarch of War
Like Mel, Ambessa becomes Empowered whenever you empower something else, and can disempower along with a rune and exhaust to ready a unit — strong synergy with other Empower-focused Legends.

Kennen — Heart of the Tempest
Rounding out the nine Legends, Kennen brings a storm-themed kit to Vendetta and completes the set's Legend Overnumbered lineup.
All Connecting Art Overnumbered Cards in Vendetta
The 22 Rival Overnumbers are made up of ten connecting pairs — two cards that form a single piece of art when placed side by side, representing iconic rivalries, friendships, and family relationships from the League of Legends universe.

Vi & Jinx
Estranged sisters from Zaun, Vi and Jinx headline the Connecting Art lineup and are one of the most requested pairings from the League universe.

Zed & Shen
The rival ninja Legends also get a connecting-art pairing, tying together Vendetta's two shadow-and-order Legend cards.

Swain & Irelia
Noxus and Ionia collide in this pairing, connecting two of the set's stronger political and martial figures.

Jayce & Viktor
Piltover's two great inventors get a connecting pairing, echoing their rivalry-turned-story arc from Arcane.

Renekton & Nasus
The Shurima brothers are reunited for a connecting-art pairing, playing on their long-running rivalry from League of Legends lore.

Rengar & Kha'Zix
The eternal hunter-versus-hunted pairing gets its own connecting art, tying together two of the set's predator-themed units.

Gangplank & Illaoi
Two of Bilgewater's most fearsome figures connect in this pairing, both drawing on the region's nautical, high-seas theming.

Diana & Leona
The Solari and Lunari rivals get a connecting pairing, playing on their sun-and-moon dynamic from Mount Targon.

Kayle & Morgana
The winged sisters round out the announced pairings so far, connecting two of League's most iconic light-and-dark siblings.

Ambessa & Mel
The final connecting pair reunites Noxus's Matriarch of War with her daughter Mel, closing out the ten rival pairings.
Collecting both halves of a pair to display the full combined artwork is the goal for a lot of Riftbound collectors, and with ten pairs plus nine solo Legend variants on offer, Vendetta's Overnumbered lineup is shaping up to be one of the most visually ambitious the game has produced yet.
Overnumbered cards drop as pulls from regular Vendetta booster packs, so your best chance at landing one is simply opening product from the set — there's no separate purchase path confirmed for them at this stage. Card art above shows each character's standard Vendetta printing; official Overnumbered frame art hasn't been published yet, and we'll update this post once it is.
