Art has been revealed for the upcoming V-UNION cards, which are being featured in three decks to be released 20th of August in Japan! The first three of these new V-UNION Pokemon are Geninja, Mewtwo and Zacian! Although it is uncertain when these will be released in English, we are certainly very excited to see them once they do! We are big lovers of alternate art and full art at Total Cards, so it's only natural that we'd love the gorgeous art of these epic card combos!

The V-UNION cards bring some unique rules to the game:

  • Four cards form a V-UNION Pokemon.
  • You play a V-Union Pokemon to the bench when all four cards that form it are in your discard pile.
  • Each V-UNION Pokemon has several Abilities and/or attacks! You can use all its Abilities during your turn, but only one attack!
  • You can only play one of each uniquely named V-UNION Pokemon during a game. However, there is nothing stopping you from playing multiple V-UNION Pokemon with different names during a game.
  • When it is knocked out, a V-UNION Pokemon gives up three Prize cards.
  • V-UNION Pokemon are not classed as Basic Pokemon or Evolution Pokemon.
