Pokemon Scarlet & Violet 9a Announced - Enhanced Expansion Pack Hot Air Arena will release in March 2025!

Hot on the heels of Prismatic Evolutions, and a month before Journey Together arrives in the West - Pokemon have announced their 9th set for Scarlet & Violet! The Enhanced Expansion Pack Hot Air Arena (強化拡張パック 熱風のアリーナ also translates to Heat Wave Arena or Hot Wind Arena) will continue the theme of Trainer Pokemon with Cynthia, Misty, Arven and Ethan at the helm!

We've already got some card reveals featuring Pokemon such as Misty's Gyarados, Magikarp & Psyduck as well as Ethan's Ho-Oh ex, Typhlosion, Quilava, Cyndaquil, Magcargo, Slugma & Pichu! That last Pokemon should be a big deal, as this is the first printing of Pichu for TPCi territories since HeartGold & SoulSilver Base Set in 2010. Ethan and Sacred Ash are the Trainer Cards that have been revealed thus far, and we'll translate them down below.

On the Cynthia and Arven sides of things, neither of these have had any reveals thus far, but we know that Cynthia's Garchomp and Arven's Mabosstiff will get a feature due to the pack artwork.

We expect our May set to be comprised of Hot Air Arena and the Glory of Team Rocket, so keep an eye out for reveals about that! As always, be sure to check out our array of Pokemon items, as well as any upcoming pre-orders we may have. Check back to this blog regularly to keep up with any updates!
