Which LEGO sets are worth picking up in June?

Hey LEGO fans! Today, we're diving into some of the most exciting LEGO releases for June and beyond. It feels like LEGO is knocking it out of the park with new sets and franchises, so let's get into it!

Star Wars Sets

First up, we've got some awesome Star Wars sets celebrating the 25th anniversary of LEGO Star Wars.

Droideka (75381)

These rolly-polly robots from The Phantom Menace are back! This set has 583 pieces and is packed with details, like arms that move back and forth for a realistic shooting motion. Plus, it includes a tiny minifigure-scale baby Droideka and even rolls up into that iconic ball shape. It's recommended for adult fans but perfect for any Star Wars-obsessed household.

Millennium Falcon (75375)

Next, the Millennium Falcon is getting another update with set 75375. With 921 pieces, this version includes the cockpit, big rear engine, cannons, and more. You'll also get a special display stand and a LEGO Star Wars 25th Anniversary brick. It's a must-have for collectors!

Captain Rex Y-Wing Microfighter (75391)

For younger fans, the Captain Rex Y-Wing Microfighter is a fun, quick build. It has 99 pieces and comes with a Captain Rex minifigure equipped with two blasters, a posable scope, and a cloth shoulder cover. It's designed for kids aged 6 and up, perfect for building and playing right away.

LEGO Botanical Collection

Moving a bit closer to home, the LEGO Botanical collection has some beautiful new sets available right now. These sets are perfect for building with friends and look great on display.

Flower Bouquet (10280)

This set totally fooled us at first glance—it looks like a real bouquet! With 15 stems and a mix of flower and leaf varieties, this bouquet will never wither. It's a unique gift idea, perfect for someone who loves flowers. Plus, it uses elements made from sustainable materials, leaning into its naturalistic vibe.

Disney Sets

For all the Disney fans out there, get ready to feel some serious nostalgia!

Maleficent's Dragon Form (43240)

This set is packed with nods to the original film. We love the spinning wheel at the back, the overgrown thorns at the front, and seeing Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather as pieces. You can recreate your favourite scenes with Prince Phillip, Aurora, and Samson, and use the spinning wheel to move the tower vines. The highlight, though, is Maleficent's Dragon form. This build stays faithful to its intimidating look and has plenty of play features for kids to enjoy.

Architecture Sets

Next up, we have something for the architecture enthusiasts.

Notre-Dame de Paris (21061)

This set allows you to build the instantly recognizable Notre-Dame de Paris with 4,383 pieces. You can recreate the building’s curved rear, bell towers, and even lift off the roof to view the interior columns and arches. This set is definitely designed to be a display piece and reflects the look of the Abbey before the fire. One of our favourite details is the printed glass piece along the side of the building. It's a great project for a few days off!

Harry Potter Sets

And finally, for all the Harry Potter fans, we've got some magical new sets coming in June.

Mandrake (76433)

This 579-piece set lets you build the Herbology Greenhouse and learn how to uproot a Mandrake. The leaves are posable, and you can animate its mouth and limbs to scream—just like in the film! It's a must-have for any LEGO Harry Potter collection.

Buckbeak (76434)

Everyone's favourite Hippogriff is here with 723 pieces. Buckbeak is highly posable, allowing you to bend him into his bowing pose and fly him around with posable wings. The build also includes elements from Hagrid's Garden, which is a nice touch for fans.

Hogwarts Castle (76435)

Last but not least, the highly anticipated version of Hogwarts Castle is here. With 1,732 pieces, this set is the largest and most detailed version of the Great Hall. It includes 11 characters from the first film, including Harry, Ron, Hermione, Dumbledore, Professor Quirrell, and more. The enchanted ceiling, girls’ toilet scene with the mountain troll, and hidden secret door are just a few of the small details we love. This set is designed to fit with other Hogwarts Castle rooms in upcoming sets, so keep an eye out!
