Doors open 10am. Please be sure to arrive in good time as we plan for a prompt 11am start. We will have decklists available at the venue for players who do not have access to a printer.
Duelists will check in at the Gaming Centre before making their way across the road to the main venue at Planet Leisure.

The road to the 2025 Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG World Championship begins with Regional Qualifiers!
These competitive events often draw in a large number of players and are run as Swiss-style tournaments.
The top performing Duelists at each Regional Qualifier earn the right to compete in the 2025 WCQ: Continental Championship, be among the top Duelists at that event and you’re going to the World Championship!

WCQ: Regional Qualifiers (henceforth “Regional Qualifiers”) are Tier 2 tournaments in which Duelists compete to earn invites to the WCQ: Continental Championship (henceforth “WCQ”), along with exclusive prizes. Participants in Regional Qualifiers are held to the highest standards of sportsmanship and are expected to be fully prepared for the event.
Regional Qualifiers are always run as Advanced Constructed.
Regional Qualifiers will be run using Swiss Format, which means all Duelists will play a set number of rounds determined by the number of Duelists enrolled in the tournament. Duelists are not eliminated during the event.
In addition to the recommended Booster Packs awarded for participation, the prize distribution is as follows:
- Top 8 Duelists each receive a Regional Qualifier Game Mat
- Top 4 Duelists each receive a Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Deck Box
- At the Tournament Organisers discretion, the above prizes may be supplemented with additional Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG product or accessories – for participation and placement prizes
- Invites to the 2024 World Championship Qualifier, depending upon the total registration of the event (table below as reference)
Qualifications to the 2024 WCQ: Continental Championship are awarded after the final round of Swiss. Qualifications are awarded to the first-place finisher and extend down to the specified number of places based on attendance (1 qualification for every 8 participants, rounded up).
Duelists who earn a qualification will also be able to see their name on the list of qualified players for their 2024 WCQ within 2-8 weeks after the completion of the event they qualified in. A list of qualified Duelists can be found at http://www.yugioh-card.com/. Navigate to the “Events” Section of the website and select the Regional Qualifier page. Duelists that qualify to the WCQ and have linked their CARD GAME ID with NEURON will get a direct notification on NEURON informing them of their qualified status. To receive this notification, it is required that Duelists have linked NEURON linked to their CARD GAME ID that they used to play in the Regional Qualifier.
Anyone can participate in a Regional Qualifier event, unless they are suspended from official Yu-Gi-Oh! Organised Play or are a tournament official associated with the Regional Qualifier. This includes, but is not limited to, the Judge Staff, Scorekeeper, Registration Staff, and Tournament Organiser.
- Suspended persons are displayed on each Tournament Organisers KCGN Portal page. Persons that have been suspended before and are not aware of their suspension status must email eu-penaltysupport@konami.com to confirm if they are in good standing. Reinstatement to good standing does not happen automatically
- Regional Qualifiers are open to players from foreign countries
- Regional Qualifiers are open to players who already hold an invitation to the World Championship Qualifiers
- Tournament Organisers retain the right to refuse entry to players who have engaged in criminal behaviour, such as theft or violent conduct
Duelists can compete in any number of Regional Qualifiers, regardless if they have already earned an invite.
