Yu-Gi-Oh Infinity Chasers Set Announced!!!

Yugioh have announced their 2019 Winter Deck Builder Set. The set is called Infinity Chasers and is a 60-card all-foil set, similar to what we have seen this winter with Hidden Summoners.

The set has 40 Super rares and 20 secret rares, all revolving around 3 archetype strategies. The three archetypes in this set are Machines, Spellbooks and Servants of the Forbidden Eye.

Machines will focus on unrestricted summoning and compatibility, meaning the cards wont restrict you to only be able to link summon or only be able to xyz summon. These cards will allow you to always have summoning options in any situation. Not much else information is supplied about the Machine cards but we wouldn't be surprised to see some fan favourites return and make a come back with even more extra deck support like Machinas, Geargia, or Gadgets!

Spellbooks make their way back utilising new magic to revamp and empower your deck. The set will have a lot of Spellbook support aimed to further support pre-existing cards, giving duelists new and improved ways to deflect attacks and defeat their opponents. We can expect to see reprints of the fan favourite Spellbook cards like Knowledge, Power, and Secrets however nothing is officially confirmed yet.

Servants of the Forbidden Eye are a new archetype to come with this set. These monsters draw their power from a source of unfathomable evil that threatens to consume them at any moment. This deck has a very unusual play style that's highly rewarding similar to the play style of Sky Strikers and Dark Saviors. If you are looking to try a new type of archetype and play style these cards might be ideal.

From an overview this set is to give duelists the tools to make a deck from one set or to improve upon decks people may not have touched in some time. This is good to see from Konami as it will give people an entry point into Yugioh if they want to build a serious deck but don't necessarily want to spend a lot of money on lots of different booster boxes.

Once more information is announced for this set we will be sure to keep everyone updated.
