Yu-Gi-Oh Arena of Lost Souls Speed Duel Booster Box Available To Pre-Order!!!
Now available is the booster box that will be following the speed duel starter decks, Arena of Lost Souls. This is a 36-pack booster box and a 50-card set.
Arena of Lost Souls, inspired from Episode 17 of the original series, focuses on Zombies and the Character Bonz. Bonz is a character from the original Yu-Gi-Oh TV series who uses a Zombie Deck.
All cards in this set are brand new to the Speed Duel Format. Speed duels are a format of Yu-Gi-Oh inspired by the popular mobile game Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links. In this format, each duellist has a minimum of 20 cards, 4000Lp, smaller monster zones, hands, and no main phase 2. Speed Duels are much quicker than a regular duel and cannot use just any card from the Yu-Gi-Oh card pool, they can only use cards that have Speed duel printed on them.
We have the upcoming release of the Speed duel Starter Decks which are decks inspired from the original Yu-Gi-Oh Series characters. These decks are speed duel decks therefore have less cards and all cards have the speed duel mark on them. These currently are the only cards that can be used for speed duels so this booster box is going to add some much needed support to the format as currently there isn't too much you can do with the cards in the format.
This new set will introduce:
- Royal Knights
- Gravekeepers
- Zombies
- Some Powerful Spell and Trap Cards
The Arena of Lost Souls booster set contains 50 cards:
- 34 Commons
- 8 Super Rares
- 8 Ultra Rares
45 cards of the set are regular Yu-Gi-Oh cards with the Speed Duel Watermark and 5 are Skill cards which are to be used only in Speed Duels.
Each booster pack will have 4 commons and 1 rare or above.
