This November, we're heading to the Newcastle Card Show for the second time this year to celebrate all things TCG! It's a great day out for any card enthusiast, but what exactly can you expect whilst you're there? Let's break it down!
Vendors Galore
There'll be a range of vendors (like ourselves!) attending the Newcastle Card Show, selling all variations of Trading Cards imaginable! From Pokemon and Dragon Ball Super to Collectible Sports Cards, there'll be something for everyone there. To get in and pay us all a visit, you'll need to book a one hour time slot to ensure that everyone gets to have a good look around throughout the day. You may find something incredibly rare, or that card you've been after for months! If you decide to pop down, be sure to say hi!
Trade Area
Much like back in June, this upcoming event will feature a trade area. It's exactly what it says on the tin, an area dedicated so that you guys can come down and make some trades with fellow card enthusiasts. It's tucked further away from the vendors to ensure that there's plenty of room for you guys to trade without the hustle and bustle of purchases getting in the way.
Surrounded by history
Though not totally card based, the event is held at Newcastle Castle in the Black Gate, which is full of history! A true treasure of the North East, it's a great place to get involved with the Northern Card Culture, and see parts of the North East you may never have explored before! It's a short walk from the train station, so there's plenty of ways to get there from all around the country!
Free Cards for Kids!
Last June, a box full of donated items from TCGs was featured by the event runners for kids coming to the card show! Each kid got a mini tin that they could fill with their choice from a community-donation rummage box, which is a great way to get kids involved in the trading card community! The best thing is that anything left over from this donation box will either be carried over to the next event or donated to a good cause!
Only £4 entry!
You heard that right, it's only £4 entry for adults! That's an affordable price to get in and have a look around what's on offer! From graded slabs to binders full of singles, you don't want to miss out on this pretty epic event! Gone are the worries of rushing through the products only to miss out on something you didn't see, with the hourly slots the Newcastle Card Show ensures that you have plenty of time to peruse at your leisure and chat to each and every stall about what's on offer!
