Good Luck to the Total Cards Team Challenge team!
The Team Challenge qualifiers are over and our team has been selected! We would like to wish our team the best of luck in their first tournament tomorrow at 3pm! The tournament will be against another game store and the winning team will advance to the next round! During the tournament each team will select a team captain and the other three players will fight it out over three rounds. Each of the three players will play against the three players of the other team (best out of three)! Teamwork is of vital importance, as players from each team will be able to coach one another and advise on their play. Another tactical element is the selection of the captain, which gives the opportunity to select the three decks with the biggest advantage over the opponents!
The Total Cards team consists of:
- Santino Franco a.k.a TheBigPokeNerd Santino is running a powerful ADP deck. This deck has dominated the recent metagame with its use of the strong Arceus, Dialga & Palkia GX!
- Matthew Rowberry a.k.a. RandomIoMTCG Matthew is playing the most powerful deck to come out of Battle Styles: Rapid Strike Urshifu!
- Bradley Marlow a.k.a. Brad30013329 Bradley is utilising a Victini Deck, which runs multiple copies of both Victini V and Victini VMAX!
- Richard Davey a.k.a. Rico404 Richard is also running an ADP deck, which is a testament to the power of the deck!
In their first outing, our team will be up against the team from Rêve de Manga (which is primarily a Manga store based in Aix-en-Provence, in the South of France). If our team is victorious they will advance to the next round (putting them in the top 256) and netting them some awesome bonus playmats!
The Rêve De Manga Team consists of:
- Walter Schneibel a.k.a. Raghounet Walter is running Lucametal, which is based around Lucario & Melmetal GX from Unbroken Bonds!
- Anthony Argente a.k.a. AlCelestino Anthony will be playing with a Vicitni-Rapidash, which runs 2 copies of Galarian Rapidash V from the new V Box and 3 copies each of Vicitni V and Victini VMAX!
- Franck Mêlé a.k.a. jamyfra Franck has a Centiskorch deck (Scolocendre in French) and is running 3 copies each of the V and VMAX versions of the Pokemon.
- Jérémy Bensaid a.k.a. MyDiasBen Jérémy is running Pikarom, which is based around Pikachu & Zekrom GX and also includes Mewtwo & Mew GX
