Descend into Seattle’s Dark Heart

Enter the night as one of several humans inexplicably attacked in a Mass Embrace, suddenly thrown into the dangerous and ruthless vampire politics of Seattle. Tensions between the factions in Seattle are at an all-time high, and this unsanctioned attack throws the status quo into chaos. An inquest is called in order to get to the bottom of the mystery, and you’re the star witness… whether you like it or not...

Take on your foes through first perspective combat. Wield a range of melee weapons and firearms, but in the end: You are the ultimate weapon! Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 reacts to your every choice in a narrative where different paths, and outcomes, abound. Your human background, the Thinblood discipline you choose, the fullblood clan you join, the faction you align with and how you maintain your humanity as a vampire all affect your playthrough. You don’t break The Masquerade. To ensure survival, Kindred must keep their existence secret to humans - and The Prince of Seattle is sure to deal with any breach.

Disciplines: Choose one of three starting Thinblood disciplines and discover your full power when you choose your fullblood clan and get two additional disciplines. Read about the playable clans to learn more about their powers.

Heightened Senses: Enhance your vision and hearing to reveal hidden objects and discover the secrets of the Seattle night.

Feeding: As a vampire, you don't feed to survive; you live to feed. Whether you prefer your blood roiling with Pain, hot with Rage, thick with Delirium; whether you prefer your victims to be in Fear or your partner to be in the throes of Desire: The Resonances of your victims shapes what kind of vampire you become. Be without it for too long and you will inevitably descend into Frenzy to get hold of it.

A City Run on Blood

From its founding, Seattle has been run by vampires. In Bloodlines 2, you will stalk your prey across Seattle’s districts - faithfully reimagined in the World of Darkness. Meet the old blood founders present since the city’s birth and the new blood steering the tech money which is rapidly redefining the city. Everyone has hidden agendas - so choose your allies wisely.

Find your place among competing factions, each with their own unique traits and stories, in the war for Seattle’s blood trade. The world will judge you by the company you keep, but remember: no one’s hands stay clean forever.

Clans

Thinblood: Seattle is the home of several Clans, lineages of vampires that share common traits and powers passed on by blood. In Bloodlines 2, you start out as a Thinblood. Feed your power by choosing one of the playable fullblood clans. Discover their differences, their disciplines and choose just what kind of monster you will be. Unlock your true vampiric potential and take on the night.

Brujah: The Pacific Northwest has a long history of attracting outcasts and drifters. The Brujah have never been a large part of the Seattle Kindred community, but when they do show up to a party, they make their presence known immediately. Many of the Seattle Brujah are leftovers from failed Anarch movements in the past century, most choosing to remain unaffiliated or loosely affiliated with the city’s political factions – or at least, they like to claim that.

Tremere: Tremere were not allowed in significant numbers throughout Seattle's history, though that has changed recently. After the fall of the Pyramid, Tremere have sought allies wherever they can find them, offering services and secrets that were once only kept to themselves. However, not all Kindred in Seattle warmly welcome the warlocks into their city.

Toreador: It would almost appear as though Seattle was shaped by artists. Influencing the elite, the Toreador have been well entrenched within Seattle's power structure since its days as a pioneer settlement. One look at the modern landscape of Downtown could paint a different picture - as if the massive cranes reshaping the city represent hands plucking the petals off of the rose. You will still find the Toreador there, but there is a sense that this clan is partying like it's their last.

Ventrue: Historically, Seattle has been the site of many industrial booms, and of course, the Ventrue have been there to capitalize on its fortunes. As more and more billion-dollar corporations shape the local and global landscape, enterprising Ventrue have entrenched themselves in the businesses of the 21st century, paving the way for a prosperous future for their clan… and making enemies of the residents who preferred the way things used to be.

Malkavian: Malkavians have been traditionally ostracized by the Seattle Kindred. While a few managed to claim territory in less desirable districts, very few have ever managed to rise to the levels of the other clans. Because of this, there is a persistent bias against the Malkavian clan that still exists into modern nights.
