Hi there, I hope this message finds you well. My partner and I have been getting into tcgs lately (currently we only play lorcana) and we've been saying that we want to give vanguard a go. I thought I'd get us some decks for his birthday but I really don't know where to start, I've read through numerous threads on reddit and looked on social media but I can't get my head around the whole thing. If I got him a Stoicheia start up trial deck and myself a dragon empire one, would that be enough to get started with the game? Or would you recommend any other trial/start up decks? For simplicity's sake I would much prefer pre-constructed decks to start with. Along with a recommendation for a reconstructed deck, could you please tell me which booster packs you would recommend to buy with them? HI Maryam Thank you for this question, So you would be able to play a game with two pre-con trial decks. These are basic decks to help you learn how to play the game but can be upgraded. A few good YouTube videos are showing how to upgrade even the starter trial decks! Unfortunately in the case of suggesting Booster Packs, this will depend on how you would like to upgrade your deck. If you are going for the starter decks from Overdress, I would suggest the likes of Genesis of the Five Greats, but remember some upgrades come from different sets and boosters All of the Startup decks are awesome and usually equal in power, its just more of a case of going for the one you like the look of most!!
