Bridges & Barricades includes four pieces representing wooden Footbridges or Barricades as well as a pair of small square wooden Platforms, four sets of wooden Steps, and a pair of wooden Door Panels. The set can be used to construct a long footbridge or grouped together to build a large wooden platform.
Where this set really shines is in conjunction with the Rock Hills and other rocks from the Broken Ground set. Link two rock peaks together with a treacherous bridge, place stairs against a rock face to allow your models to move over it, or set the pieces on their sides to serve as an obstacle or barricade. The bridges have panel sections that lift off to act as gaps or trap doors in a bridge or a hole in a wall. The panels themselves are useful as accent terrain on your battlefield.
The bridge sections span 5 ½ inches in length. The general width of all of the pieces is 1 ½ inches. The stairs scale up to 1 ¼ inch and the gap for each step is tall enough that most humanoid-shaped models on average-sized bases can stand on the stairs. Every piece is made from durable plastic and comes pre-painted, ready to go right out of the box.
