Wingspan Oceania Expansion is Now Available to Pre-order

Wingspan is a competitive, card-driven, engine-building board game from Stonemaier Games. When playing Wingspan, players will take on the role of bird enthusiasts. researchers, bird watchers, ornithologists, and collectors who are seeking to discover and attract the best birds to your network of wildlife preserves. Each bird extends a chain of powerful combinations in one of your habitats. These habitats focus on several key aspects of growth:

  • Gain food tokens via custom dice in a birdfeeder dice tower.
  • Lay eggs using egg miniatures in a variety of colours.
  • Draw from hundreds of unique bird cards and play them.

The winner is the player with the most points after 4 rounds.

Due to the sheer number of birds affected by the Australian wildfires, Stonemaier Games announced early that the next expansion for Wingspan will focus on the region of Oceania. The primary feature of the next expansion is the colourful and awe-inspiring birds of Oceania. The Oceania bird cards are designed to be shuffled into the bird cards from the base game, with or without other expansions. This will allow players to explore different strategies in this new and exciting environment, it also includes new bonus cards and more end-of-round goals, as well as a new colour of eggs. With all this in-store, it's clear to see why this expansion has built so much hype.
