Run a great campaign with these D&D sourcebooks!

Dungeons and Dragons is a game like no other. The self-proclaimed world's greatest roleplaying game is incredibly easy to get into, and there are multiple paths into becoming a player or Dungeon Master. Take a look at some of the awesome sourcebooks, including adventures and setting guides, below to get a good idea on how to begin a game of D&D.

A great place to start is with the awesome collection that is Tales from the Yawning Portal. The book is stuffed with a jaw-dropping seven full adventures, all of which have been taken from past editions. Each adventure is noted for having been one of the most iconic and memorable of that edition. This set presents an awesome history lesson for any new DM or player and a trip down memory lane for a D&D veteran.

Tyranny of Dragons is a two-part adventure that is most notable for being the first full adventures released for the Fifth Edition. Although the edition was in its infancy the adventure was very exciting as it concluded with an epic showdown with the evil dragon goddess, Tiamat!

If you're new to D&D, but have some experience with Magic the Gathering, then we have some excellent options for you. Wizards of the Coast have released some awesome setting sourcebooks, that allow you to run an entire campaign on your favourite plane in the Magic universe. So far you can pick up two books for adventuring in the worlds of Magic Guildmasters' Guide to Ravnica, and Mythic Oddesseys of Theros, both of which are full of new character options, monsters and a ready-made adventure.

Getting into D&D is easier than it ever was and the game is experiencing a renaissance since the release of the fifth edition.
