It’s the turn of the 20th century, the golden age of museums. As interest in and accessibility of museums grew exponentially, many institutions underwent an intense period of expansion on both an intellectual and physical level, searching to grow their collections for profit and science. In Museum, you play as a curator of one such museum and it’s your job to build the biggest, most coherent collection that you can in this game of collection and bartering featuring over 300 individual illustrations by Vincent Dutrait and authentic architectural facts. But it’s no simple task! You can enhance this awesome game three awesome expansions: The People's Choice, The World's Fair and The Black Market!

The Peoples Choice In this expansion, you and your friends can battle it out for public acclaim as well adding a 5th player to your games of Museum! In The People’s Choice, you’ll be competing for a common objective that is drawn at the beginning of the game. For example: The “B.C.” card awards players with the most BC dated cards in their museum. The player with the most cards takes the People’s Choice token and keeps it until another player amasses a bigger collection.
The World's Fair Museum: The World's Fair introduces two new mechanisms to Museum. The first new mechanism is the 'Pavilion' which introduces new shared objectives. The second new mechanism is 'Loans.' Loans allow you to send an item to another player's museum which will benefit both of you. This is not available in the two player game. The World's Fair expansion also includes three tower boards as well as additional events, personnel, and character cards.
The Black Market Black Market is the fourth expansion for Museum and adds a market system to the game where you may purchase Objects and Notoriety cards to complete your collections and harass your adversaries. For those of you looking to put a more aggressive emphasis on the interaction between players in Museum, this is the one for you!
