Escape the Dark Castle is a simple, cooperative game of retro-atmospheric adventure. In the game, each player takes on the role of a prisoner within the dark castle. Wrongfully convicted, the characters must make their way through the castle to escape! The game takes place across several chapters, in which each chapter presents a different scenario. In the style of a tabletop RPG or choose-your-own-adventure book, each chapter has different ways to be beaten. Will you choose to fight the guards or bribe them? Each chapter is a mini-game that requires a variety of skills and mechanics to complete them. Combat is a group affair and all members of the party must roll their dice to conjure the right amount of Might, Cunning, and Wisdom to defeat their enemies. Escape the Dark Castle is a challenging game in which too many missteps can spell doom. If even a single member of the group dies, then the party fails and the game comes to an end!
